The deBrito bailers are the benchmark in surf ski bailers.
They are easy to maneuver and very effective. These bailers work so well that it is possible for a cockpit to be emptied paddling using only one’s hands or from a standing start with within ten strokes.
The new Standard bailer operates with index openings of 0, 10 and 25 degrees.
These bailers are operated simply by using the foot. Once proficient, you will be opening and closing on the runs without skipping a beat.
Changing parts is very simple; just unscrew the the six screws and change the moving part.
The bailer cradle is mounted with glue. Sikaflex-291 is commonly used but 3M Marine Adhesive 5200 is an alternative or epoxy mixed with an adhesive filler (e.g. West Systems 403).
