A great option for surf and river racing, this paddle series has been designed for those paddlers who are seeking a low-cost paddle to fill the void between the more expensive carbon range and the basic entry level plastic composite blades. But don’t be fooled by the price. These paddles come with the same high quality carbon shafts provided on our carbon range paddles and with tried and tested Kevlar/Glass blades from Maxpaddle in South Africa.
These blades are made from a solid, no core, construction of Kevlar and Fibreglass with an epoxy matrix. This means they are great for rivers where impact and chips from rocks may occur . They are also great for those paddlers looking for a low-cost option for surf and flatwater paddling.
The Dura series comes with 3 blades choices (on a fixed or adjustable shaft):
M3xs (Xsmall), M3 (Small Plus), J-tech (Medium)
Which blade for me?
We recommend you email or call us so that we can make the best recommendation for your needs. Below is a brief guide to help point you in the right direction.
M3xs (Xsmall) – children and younger paddlers, smaller female paddlers
M3 (Small Plus)– strong younger paddlers, small-medium sized males, strong females
J-tech (Medium) – strongest females, medium to strong males
How to order?
Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries or require a recommendation as to what paddle would best suit. We are more than happy to assist and would prefer you do this then make a less suitable selection. However, if you have a pretty good idea of what you want then simply do the following:
- Decide if the paddle is going to be fixed or adjustable in length (and angle)
- If fixed, then simply select the shaft option you require and enter the length and angle in the fields provided
- If adjustable, choose the adjustor system that best suits your needs (e.g. plastic or metal), select the shaft type you require specific to the adjustor type you chose and finally provide the minimum adjustment length for the paddle.
